Nuestras metas (Our goals):
- discuss real-world applications of Spanish-language and evaluate their own motivations, goals, and expectations for their Language B learning and future use in and out of the school community; ·
- learn and use correct pronunciation of the Spanish alphabet;
- learn about, analyze patterns between, and utilize cognates to expand their Spanish vocabulary;
- learn and use the following vocabulary to create meaningful and unscripted two-way conversations with peers/teacher: greetings, introductions, farewells, numbers, time, body parts, classroom objects, weather, seasons, dates, and asking for help;
- learn about, understand, analyze the similarities and differences in terms of greetings/conversations/language production between the US and Spanish-speaking countries (concept of register).

As a reminder, it was a short week, one day we did review of all concepts from weeks one through three, and the other day we had a quiz. After the quiz, we played 'Manos rapidas' to practice recognizing 'los sentimientos' (i.e. feelings).
