Tarea - La práctica de español
Have you ever Wanted to be absolutely aWeSoMe at something??? I'm sure you have. Maybe it's been skateboarding or drawing or playing drum line...maybe it's speaking Spanish! It doesn't matter what it is, if you want to be aWeSoMe, you've got to practice.
Homework Expectations:
I encourage you to...
Homework Expectations:
- Homework is assigned on a daily basis. It might be something you have to complete and bring back, like a worksheet, or it might be something you need to do online or with a partner, like an online review activity or a conversation.
- Homework is expected to be completed and to be turned in on time but can be turned in late within the start and finish of a unit.
- Assignments will be added to the class calendar on a daily basis, making it easy for you to know what has been assigned and when it is due.
- If you are absent, it is your responsibility to check the calendar and obtain the necessary materials.
I encourage you to...
- speak as much Spanish outside of the classroom as possible. You can practice with your friends, families, classmates, teammates, anyone who will listen...Teach your mom, dad, sister, etc. You'll be reinforcing what you know by doing so.
- practice all partner activities in ACP with a fellow Spanish student. Quiz each other on vocabulary - both pronouncing words and spelling words correctly.
- use Quizlet, even when not assigned! You can turn the audio on to hear all of the words being pronounced correctly. You can also play games and test yourself. Make your own sets of cards if that is more helpful - sometimes just the action of writing vocabulary is more helpful than looking at a screen.
- come in when I offer help during ACP or after school if you know you're struggling. The sooner the better - everything in Spanish 1 builds on each other, so it's important to ask questions and get support right when you start to feel confused.
