Lesson #7: Friday, October 21, 2016

My ACP, this is the lesson that you will do on your own while I am out of town!

Directions:
  1. Open the PowerPoint by clicking on the black tab below.
  2. Begin the presentation mode and go through each slide of the PowerPoint reading them in their entirety.
  3. When you get to "Today's WORK TIME to-do list," it's time to begin working in Managebac. Open a new window to log into Managebac but keep the PowerPoint open to refer to as you work on your own timeline.
  4. When work time is done for the day, remember you'll need to finish this task on your own time outside of class. Also, please make sure to shut down the computers properly and put them back in the laptop containers in their correct spots. Thanks, guys! Have a great weekend!

My ACP, since you have to type your timeline into Managebac, we skipped the step (or option) of doing it on paper first. Below is the handout that some ACP teachers are giving out. If you're struggling with making your timeline on Managebac, you might want to open it up and use it as a template to help you. Also, refer to Brandon's example in the PowerPoint to give you ideas.
Optional Handout: Brainstorn the Timeline on Paper

Lesson #8: Friday, October 28, 2016

Creating Rigorous Criteria PowerPoint
Planning Phase Outline Handout
Lesson #9: Friday, November 4, 2016
My ACP, this is the lesson that you will do on your own while I am out of town!

Directions:
  1. Make sure you have written your Success Criteria in a process journal entry in Managebac. Your supervisor is going to be looking over this entry before you meet with them for the Evidence Check #2!
  2. Work on your Planning Phase Outline for the rest of today. This should be done on the Google Doc you created for your Investigation Phase Outline. Go back to the questions you needed to answer for the Investigation Phase paragraphs and add more details to them. Then begin writing the rough drafts of the three paragraphs for the Planning Phase. When you are done, download the doc as a PDF and upload that to Managebac.
  3. Remember you'll need to finish this task on your own time outside of class. Also, please make sure to shut down the computers properly and put them back in the laptop containers in their correct spots. Thanks, guys! Have a great weekend!
