  • For students taking the final, you must decide on which one (minimum) or two (maximum) criteria you would like the opportunity to take during the final exam time. 
  • Decide on which one (minimum) or two (maximum) criteria you would like the opportunity to do as part of the final evidence of proficiency on the exam day for your class. Mark those criteria on the last sheet of this paper to turn in to Sra. Moore. ​
Final Exam Information
  • Begin using your resources to study, improve and prepare for those assessments so that you do better on them and could potentially improve your overall course final grade.

A: Listening

Are you taking the listening part
of the final? 

Best resources to use: The videos under Day 16 of Unit 3. See the screenshot below for what you're looking for.

ALONE: Make sure to practice the vocabulary using Quizlets. Get out your graded Unit 3 Listening Quiz. Pull up the videos and listen/watch them. Try to make corrections alone OR with a partner. 

WITH A PARTNER: Pull up a Quizlet set for the Unit 3 Q & A and/or Expressing Thoughts & Beliefs & Giving Advice. Have them click on the "Spell" function. Have them click on the audio icon and listen to the Spanish being spoken. Guess the meaning. The English translation will be on the screen for your partner to tell you if you were correct or not.

B: Reading

Are you taking the reading part
of the final? 


ALONE: Use the Match function on any and all Quizlet sets on the Unit 3 page of this website. Use the sets that have full sentences and questions - that would help A LOT. Also, use the Quizlet below that helps you with the style of questions that will be asked. Remember, all the questions will be in Spanish too!

WITH A PARTNER: Get out your Unit 3 Reading Evidence. Re-read the passage and look at the word bank, pictures and captions together. Try to translate all the questions and options - even ones you got right the first time! Discuss the ones you got wrong or your rationale was wrong/incomplete. Come up with a new answer and write it down. Show Sra. Moore your corrections & chat to see if you're on the right track!
​Go through binder to find all old evidences from Unit 3 that already assessed this specific criteria. Read the feedback and the rubric to understand what you do get and what you don’t get.
Quizlet: Reading Practice Questions
Make sure you know the vocabulary from this unit and the types of sentence structures you will encounter. Using the Quizlet sets on the Unit 3 page, make sure to review:
  • basic foods and drinks
  • advanced foods and drinks
  • the sentence structures used to talk about what people eat drink, like, love, dislike, prefer, want, play, etc. 
  • the useful words/detail words and frequency terms

Are you taking the speaking part of the final? Click on the BLUE button below and use it as you practice!

D: Writing

Are you taking the speaking part
of the final? 


ALONE: Use the Quizlets, videos, and links to online practice on the Conjuguemos website for immediate feedback under Day 16 on the Unit 3 page.  

ALONE OR WITH A PARTNER: Get one of the writing practice activities from the table in Rm. 203. The answer key for the review packet is below. Click on the button. For the errors correction activity and writing activity, you should show Sra. Moore your work and get feedback to see if you're on the right track.

PAIRS/GROUPS in class: Play one of the Jenga or dice games!

  • Go through binder to find all old evidences from Unit 3 that already assessed this specific criteria. Read the feedback and the rubric to understand what you do get and what you don’t get.
  • Come in for one or more of Sra. Moore’s tutoring sessions. 
  • For writing complete sentences, use the “Write” function of Quizlet sets. 
  • For writing paragraphs on Unit 3 topics, get out your survey project and the attached feedback and rubric. Try to make corrections to all underlined errors. Show them to Sra. Moore to see if you have done them correctly. Then look at the list of verbs on the feedback sheet. For any verb that is circled, learn how to conjugate it and use it correctly in sentences on the unit’s topics. Show Sra. Moore your practice sentences for feedback.
